Workflow Comments
Stay aligned with your team through rich commenting features. Add context, ask questions, provide feedback, and keep all workflow-related discussions in one place.
Adding Comments
Comments can be added to workflows to provide context, ask questions, or give feedback:
Open any workflow
Navigate to the Comments tab or section
Type your comment in the text field
Optionally use @ to mention team members
Click "Post" or press Cmd/Ctrl+Enter
Threaded Discussions
Keep conversations organized with threaded replies:
Reply to Comments: Click reply on any comment to start a thread
Nested Conversations: Replies are visually indented to show relationships
Get someone's attention by mentioning them in comments:
Type @ followed by a name to see suggestions
Select the person from the dropdown
They'll receive a notification about the mention
Mentioned users are highlighted in the comment
Click on a mention to view their profile
Example: "@John Doe can you review the latest changes to this workflow?"
Reaction System
React to comments quickly with emoji reactions. Choose from 5 reaction types:
Like
Show agreement or support
Love
Show strong appreciation
Laugh
Show humor or amusement
Idea
Mark as insightful
Question
Indicate confusion or inquiry
How to React
Hover over any comment
Click the reaction icon (smiley face)
Select your reaction from the menu
See all reactions with counts below the comment
Click your reaction again to remove it
Editing Comments
Made a typo? You can edit your own comments:
Click the edit button on your comment
Make your changes
Save the updated comment
Edited comments are marked with an "edited" indicator
Edit history is tracked for audit purposes
Deleting Comments
You can delete your own comments if needed:
Click the delete button on your comment
Confirm the deletion
Deleted comments are removed from view
Deletion is logged in the audit trail
Comment Notifications
Stay informed about comment activity:
Receive notifications when mentioned in a comment
Get notified of replies to your comments
See notifications for reactions to your comments
Follow thread updates for active discussions
Comment Metadata
Each comment includes:
Author name and profile
Timestamp (when posted)
Edited indicator (if modified)
Reaction counts
Reply count for threads
View count for analytics
